The 5K Dash for Friendship Pre-registration is now closed.
Please register for the event on April 20, 2008 in the lobby of the Indiana State Museum. Registration opens at 7:00am.
Donations can still be accepted online
or at the 5K Dash for Friendship.
Join Best Buddies supporters from across the state to help raise awareness and funds for Best Buddies Indiana high school and college programs. The Dash for Friendship will include a 5K competitive run/walk and a 2.2-mile walk on the beautiful White River State Park Canal in downtown Indianapolis.
People with intellectual disabilities are often excluded from society because of their differences. Best Buddies is the world’s biggest non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships. Best Buddies is determined to end social isolation for people with intellectual disabilities by establishing meaningful, lasting relationships with their non-disabled peers. These friendships help to increase self-esteem, confidence and the abilities of all involved.
Funds raised at the Best Buddies Indiana Dash for Friendship fuel the ambitious expansion of Best Buddies programs throughout Indiana.
